What version is your RDP client? I think I've read somewhere about a
similar issue (VSS related) but the remote desktop problem was fixed
by reverting to RDP client version 5 (from 6).

Update what? Please clarify your question and also post your OS, what you
have done before the problem or what happens. Also post error messages and
event viewer errors if exist.
