Outlook 2003: Failure to close personal folder file -- Operation failed, object could not be found
I dont know how I have tree Personal Folders files open in Outlook 2003, only one of which corresponds to the set into which my internet only mail is delivered and there is no Exchange. On that if I right click on the folder nam, the option Close Personal Folders is greyed out. On the other 2, which corresponds to an older version of the files, if I right click, then on one it is greyed out and on the other it is not greyed out. If I am selecting it, then I get a pop-up box saying that "Operation failed, an object could not be found." Can anyone please help me out? Thanks

Have you tried using the mail applet in the control panel to create a new profile and not copy, add the required data file, the accounts and test the accounts, if it is fine, then open outlook.
