Z10 speakers and microphone headsets
Short question: anyone know how i can keep using a regular microphone headset in the regular motherboard headphones jack while using the Z10 speakers?
Long question: I recently bought the Logitech Z10 speakers, and though i like them very much so far, there is one annoyance i haven't been able to solve, and that is a matter of a microphone headset.
I use a microphone headset quite a lot when playing games, WoW, BF2 etc in order to use voice communication. During those times, i have speakers turned off to minimize any feedback loops.
When i installed the Z10 speakers, my headphones suddenly stopped working in the headphone jack on the motherboard. I can plug them in the headphone jack on the speakers, but since the headphones have a mic built in, the microphone is useless, since the cable can't reach the motherboard jack while the headphones are connected to the speakers.
anyone know how i can keep using a regular microphone headset in the regular motherboard headphones jack while using the Z10 speakers?
Note: the default audio driver before installing the Z10 speakers was Soundmax HD Audio, if that helps in any way.
