DNS Error not allowing access to internet
I am having same issue with my laptop that is running Windows Vista which was happening before as well and am getting an error message that says "There may be a problem with your DNS (Domain Name Server) Configuration. Windows failed to find the well-known server 'www.microdoft.com' using DNS. The server may be down." I was able to solve this problem last time but now it is not working. Can anyone please help me?
Re: DNS Error not allowing access to internet
can you try to post the resuly of ipconfig /all here so that we can look at the same and see if we can help you out.
Re: DNS Error not allowing access to internet
You can always try to use nslookup to resolve URL/domain name, it's DNS problem if it does not resolve the URL/domain name successfully. You can also try to configure following free DNS servers (provided by OpenDNS) on computer and test again.
