Dell EqualLogic PS5000 Series storage arrays share a revolutionary architecture to serve as the backbone of virtual datacenters. This dynamic architecture can deliver advanced storage functionality, simultaneous scaling of performance with capacity and enterprise-class management for one upfront price - eliminating up sells and hidden licensing fees. Using the iSCSI interconnect, the Dell EqualLogic architecture creates a flexible, virtualized environment for dynamic volume creation and movement, thin provisioning, scalability, remote replication, and easy interoperability within any IP-based datacenter.

This is a new product by Dell which is some kind of new storage support solution. Today there is more on storage solution developing on the base of cloud computing. The EqualLogic PS6000 leads in performance which is superior to other products. I hope Dell might be working more on the cloud computing stuff. Dell EqualLogic Series is the first to use SSD storage devices at a reasonable price, even supporting a capacity up to 500TB of storage for workgroup.
