I have installed FileFormatConverters addon and i dint faced any error while installing it but now whenever i am trying to open 2007 documents then i am getting a box with options like text file.It seems as if FileFormatConverters.exe has not got installed properly.Any help is appreciated!
Did you check properly the system requirment of this file. I will list you the same in detail. The file does not work on newer version of Windows and Microsoft Office. The operating system it supports is Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows XP Service Pack 3, etc. For Office requirement you must have the following to use it.
- Microsoft Word 2000 with Service Pack 3, Microsoft Excel 2000 with Service Pack 3, and Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 with Service Pack 3
- Microsoft Word 2002 with Service Pack 3, Microsoft Excel 2002 with Service Pack 3, and Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 with Service Pack 3
- Microsoft Office Word 2003 with at least Service Pack 3, Microsoft Office Excel 2003 with at least Service Pack 3, and Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 with at least Service Pack 3
- Microsoft Office Excel / Word / PowerPoint Viewer 2003

Run Windows update. Windows update can find the right version of file for your system. This file might be facing serious compatiblity issue while running on a new operating system. If you are using Office 2007 you will face the compatibility error. It is recommended that you run Windows update if you face a error. Windows 7 popups a message for checking online solution when you face any type fo compatibility error.
