C:\PROGRA-1\MYWEBS-1 error
I am having a MSI laptop running with Windows Vista (32bit) OS. It was working great since last 6 months but from yesterday night whenever I start my computer, it comes up with the following error message:
Error loading C:\PROGRA-1\MYWEBS-1\bar\1.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL
The specified module could not be found.
As this is the first time am using Vista, don’t know what is the cause and how can I fix this problem. Is there anyone who experienced this before or having any regarding the same ? Please help.
Re: C:\PROGRA-1\MYWEBS-1 error
The error is related to My Websearch toolbar. If am not wrong you might have installed this toolbar and removed it recently, right ? That is actually a malware, Anyways, though you have removed the toolbar it use leave a reference in the startup and hence you getting the error because the program is no more on the system. So you should remove its reference files as well to get rid of such error messages.
Go to Start, click RUN and type ‘MS Config’, press enter. Now in the opened window go to Startup Tab and uncheck the box you see related to that toolbar. Restart the system and you are done.
