on VISTA, sony vaio smart network stop working

I have a sony vaio laptop and am having issues with smart network, whenever my laptop starts to boot and comes to desktop, i get an error message saying that:
"Vaio smart network stopped working. A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will notify you if a solution is available."

I have just installed PC suite of Sony Ericsson in my laptop and then the problem started to arise. Since I am using a Sony phone, i dont to uinstall the pc suite, can anyone help me how to get around with this error message?

The error that you are getting is due to something is searching to connect like the mobile phone that may not be supported by Windows Vista. But what you can do is try to reinstall the original version 1.2 - 1.2.01.13070 of the VAIO Smart Network from this link and see if that helps. If there are still issues then you could try contacting the Sony support team and ask them for RMA if you laptop is still under warranty.

This is caused by the wireless phone software or windows security essentials, download this file and it will restore the Vaio Smart Network to the out of box status:
