I want to write a code to fetch the ip address/Host name of the domain controller machine from the local machine.As there any Windows API or any WMI query which will return the ip address/Host name of the domain controller machine from the local machine?
why would you want to write a code to fetch the ip address?
You can directly go to whois.sc & other lookup websites for the same. :whistling
Actually i want to use dcdiag tool for dns health check up.I guess we need to run the dcdiag in the domain controller machine.so i want to write a code which will fatch the domain controller from the local machine and execute the dcdiag tool with the fetched domain controller ip.

Thanks a lot for ur help...I found one more way to get the Primary Domain Controller's name that is using WMI.
