Media Center .. Adding Channel Manually

I have recently purcahsed a new ACER ASPIRE 820 that came with Windows Media Center preinstalled on it. I tried scanning for DTV channels but after scanning it misses a lot of DTV channels and will not display them but will show only few of them only. So, does anyone know how to add channels manually, thanks for any information.

Follow the below steps:

First of all you need to check under Guide there will be Edit Channels >> Add Missing Channels >> Edit Favorite Lineups >> Guide Page Options >> Get Latest Guide Listings >> Guide Terms Of Service >> About Guide Listings.
If you dont know what to do then run the setup once again.

To do the same, you need to check Under Tasks > Settings > General > Windows Media Center Setup > Run Setup Again.

If you want to add a missing analog TV channel, then open Windows Media Center and follow the below instructions:

1. On the start screen, scroll to Tasks, click settings, clickTV, clickGuide, and then click Add Missing Channels.
2. Click Add Channel.
3. Type the name of the missing channel, and then click Next.
4. Type the number of the missing channel, and then click Next.
5. If prompted, type the physical number of the missing channel, and then click Add.
6. Click Done.
