Run Time Error, Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

I have just now installed Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise on my system running on Windows XP x64 but after rebooting my system after completing the installation i got below error message:

"Runtime Error, Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: ...ram Files (x86)Ascentive\Performance Center\APCMain.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I dont know what went wrong, i did not had any issue in installing Office 2007. Is there anything i can try to fix this error???

I have checked out for the error you are getting and have come across below Knowledge base article.

Hey thank's for sharing it seems that's the fix i was looking for. I had searched for the whole error because of which i did not came across this article, anyways i will try out the solution that has been mentioned there and will post back if it helps.
