Roaming Profile creating large prf.tmp files on one users desktop
There is one client that has a small office with about 5 Workstations/laptops and a Dell Server with Windows SBS 2003. Every users have roaming profiles because they all use all of the Workstations laptops in the office. One of the user is having problem with the large prf.tmp files that is being created on his desktop when he logs on and off. I have already tried re-creating on his profile but that didnt work. Have removed the profile folder from the Veritas backup job on the Server but that didnt work as well. Is there anyone who can help me out with this problem? Thanks.

I think that you can try to use Group Policies to lock down a Terminal Server session on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based or Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer. With the following settings, even the administrator account will have restricted access. It is highly recommended that you create a new organizational unit instead of modifying the policies on an existing one. For more information go to this link - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/278295

If you want to work around this problem, use either of the following methods:
- Turn off the software or the service that is in conflict with the profile engine.
or - Exclude profile folders from the conflicting operational scan or monitor functionality.
