access denied, no security tab
I am having a Windows server 2003 installed on the computer and am unable to access a folder which gives error message - assess denied. If I right click and then choose Properties on the folder then there is no security tab, but can see it only in General, Customize and then NFS sharing. Since this simple file sharing only exist in Windows XP and its obviously an NTFS drive as its windows server that I am running. Any ideas?
Re: access denied, no security tab
Could you please tell me what's the name of the folder and the full path and do you know whats in it exactly?

You can also try to use the below command that from a Command Prompt:
cacls "d:\Some Folder" /t /e /g administrator:f system:f
Re: access denied, no security tab
If you cannot remove folders and you find morphed directories, use the Fsutil command to remove the reparse point that is associated with the folders. The Fsutil command is included in Windows Server 2003. The syntax of the Fsutil command to remove the reparse can be found on this website - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932456/en-us
