AVG 7.5 was working fine since i was using it but from some weeks its database is not getting updated. It does download update files but then comes up with an error saying "process was terminated". It says update manager is out of date as well but how can i update it when update manager is not able to install any updates at all. Is there anyone who can help me out in dealing with this mess??
It seems as if there is something wrong going on with your AVG, i am using AVG 7.5 as well and i haven't faced any such issue. Anyways if you are not able to install the updates using update manager than you can right click on AVG in sys tray , click on "check for Updates" and click in update now. I think that should work out for you unless there is no serious issue with AVG in your case.
Have you tried reinstalling AVG 7.5? if not than you can try that out now and check out if update manager starts installing update after that. If that doesn't work than uninstall AVG 7.5 and install the latest version available, newer version of AVG has been released recently.
