How to setup VPN on Win2K3 SBS behind D-Link VPN router
I am trying to find some instructions or KB article on how to setup VPN access behind a Dlink router. I have got Windows 2003 SBS with ISA 2004 and Exchange. The dlink model is DIR-130 which is PPTP pass-through and port 1723 open. I dont have RRAS installed at this time. I did before but external access via the Linksys router will not occur but a internal Lan test did connect and at that time ISA was not installed. I then replaced the Linksys with the Dlink and now I can externally VPN connect to the router but dont access the server behind it. So, should i install RRAS again? Can anybody help? Thanks.

You can try to run the CEICW wizard to configure the VPN for the SBS server and ISA. Make sure, on the router, the GRE protocol is set for passthrough and port 1723 is forwarded to the SBS server. After that logon to RWW from an external computer and make sure the box beside "I am using a public or shared computer" is not checked. After that click on the link on the RWW homepage that says "Download connection manager" and install it on the remote computer.

Thanks, I have run CEICW but there was no VPN portion. Am I suppose to run Configure Remote Access to establish VPN at the server side? The server is not set for remote access now and it is behind the dlink vpn router.
