Group Policy Management Console, GPMC for Vista with SP1
Somewhere I heard that the existing Group Policy Management Console available in Vista will be removed with Service Pack 1. As am running Vista and want to go with SP1, can anyone please tell me when are they going to launch the new Group Policy Management Console for Vista SP1?
Re: Group Policy Management Console, GPMC for Vista with SP1
There is a reason why the existing GPMC will be removed from SP1 and it is because Vista SP1 changes the tools that administrators use to manage Group Policy. Administrators requested features in Group Policy that simplify Group Policy management. And as far as I know Microsoft will be releasing Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for Windows Vista SP1 just after the launch of Windows Server 2008.

I appreciate your Maee. So in short you mean to say that I should install RSAT on my system. Isn’t it?

Of course, Yes. If you want I can provide you the download links. Here it is:
If you are running 32bit Vista SP1, download RSAT from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
If you are running 64bit Vista SP1, download RSAT from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
