I am having a SBS 2003 Server and I have roaming profiles enabled. If the user log off from the workstation then the profile is not updated back to the server. If I am deleting a document on the desktop for example, then the document comes back on the desktop after a complete shutdown/restart cycle. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.
You can try to do a folder redirection for My Documents. When the properties of the My Documents folder (the desktop icon) are displayed and a group policy has not been established to redirect the folder, you can change the path to the My Documents folder and you can move the contents from the old location to the new location, by following the method given here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/221837
Thank you very much for the solution. I have now applied folder redirection on those folders and everything seems to be working fine now.
