Microsoft wireless Keyboard 700 model 1060
My keyboard operates perfectly except I get no indication of CAPS LOCK being
on until various passwords get rejected.
I wonder if it is beyond the minds of Vista programmers to incorporate some
sort of indicator on the screen so that it is independent of the keyboard
model. I get so mad when trying to access my bank which uses case dependent
passwords.

Download and install the latest IntelliType software
from the Microsoft download web site.
RE: Microsoft wireless Keyboard 700 model 1060
Right-hand top of your keyboard; there is a light to indicate CAPS are ON
Re: Microsoft wireless Keyboard 700 model 1060
Sorry Mick, my keyboard doesn't have that light, thats why I wrote the
gripe.
Re: Microsoft wireless Keyboard 700 model 1060
If that's an important issue to you, let me point out that you can buy
a new keyboard with such a light for under $10.
Or do as I do. I never want to use the caps lock at all, and because
I'm prone to hitting it accidentally, I have it turned off (along with
the insert key--another key I never want to use, but sometimes hit
accidentally), using SharpKeys at http://www.randyrants.com/sharpkeys/
