How to Find Product Key for Windows 2003 Install
I have an admin who no longer works here who installed two Windows 2003
servers but never documented which one of five available product keys he
used. As a result now when I need to do our next Windows 2003 install I
don't know which keys are really available.
Microsoft makes a nice utility for Windows XP and Vista that shows the
existing product key. Is there anything available for Windows 2003 so I
can document which keys these mystery servers are using?

You can also use Winkeyfinder software that will give you the serial number or relative product key of your Microsoft opearting system. This software supports almost all operating systems such as Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office 2010 and. NET. With WinKeyFinder you can also change the product key of Windows XP and the Microsoft Office, which can be, for other reasons, very useful too.

There is another utility called ProduKey that displays the identification number and product key of Microsoft Office software (2003 and 2007) and Windows (including Windows 7 and Vista). ProduKey can be very useful if you have lost the Product key of your Windows/Office software, and you want to reinstall it on your computer. You can view this information for your current operating system or to another using command options.
