I was trying to open System Configuration Utility on my Windows Vista system because I was having some problem which was bothering me. It looks to me that the pc is starting up as if its normal in Selective startup mode only. And when I check on Normal startup then the boot will automatically tick into the Safe mode? When I untick the safe mode option in the boot tab then it will go to the selective startup? Can anyone tell me how do i fix this problem? Thanks for any help.
I dont think there shouldnt be any problem if it is starting in the Selective Mode. I have got myself Windows XP and Vista which keep doing the same, so its not a big deal. Whenever you get the selective mode then it simply means that you have taken some program out from starting at the startup. The reason being that you dont want to run some of the programs at the startup. This is usually done by many people in order to make your computer boot quickly as possible. Hope that this helps.
