Excel 2000 - Change Default Cell Fill Color
I need some help to change the cell color in Microsoft Excel. I am using a bit old version of Office here. It is Office 2000. I cannot find option to change that. What I want to is to keep a customized cell color. The one that I want forever. Whenever I exit the documents the color changes. I have to again add all the changes and modification which is a bit annoying. I hope there will be some way of doing the same.

You can do that through Tools > Option > Colors. From that you can modify the color of cell and save the file. But if you open a new file then the cell color will be default. For changing that you will need to modify the template which will be not so easy. You have to add that as per your need and save. You can do one thing. You can keep a standard excel sheet with you with all changes that you want and then simply use it for work.

Try that through Macros. You will need to create a Macro and through that you can simply apply the settings instantly. I have lots of conditional formatting in Excel. I had created separate macro for each of them. To apply the settings I just run the Macro and things are done well. It is working properly.
