Is there a way to change the product key of Windows SBS 2003. I am trying to find out a working solution to modify the license of Windows Server 2003. It is not working. The steps that I had found is yet worthless. It looks there is no way to modify the same. I hope there will be some way available through which I can simply modify the license key of SBS 2003.
I think it is not possible. Did you tried to contact Microsoft for that. I am sure there you can find much more suggestion. If you had activated the software then there is no way to change the license key. Even I tried to look for the same. You will need to install SBS 2003 back from scratch and at the time of activation you will need to provide the new key. That is the only way it looks will work. I found a small tip on web but I had not tested that. It shows that you have to rename two files. First is wpa.dbl and the second is wpa.bak. You can try testing this and check again.
