Nero In Windows Vista

I installed Vista on my HP Laptop. I am trying to install Nero 7.8.5.0 (which says it's Vista compatible) it wants to install DirectX 9.0c.

Now, Nero Support says that I have to install DirectX 9.0c version for some special files needed by Nero and they also says that it will not downgrade my current DirectX 10 version.

But I don't want to loose my Vista DirectX 10 with this install. Anyone have any idea on this?

Actually they are correct, there should be a Direct X 9.0c update that you can apply.

So instead of using the DirectX 9.0c included in Nero I should install the latest one?

Why not you install both of them
