Movie Maker Avi Problems.
I dont know why Windows Movie Maker has stopped recognizing Avi files. Previously, I would shoot avi movies and then save them to my computer and upload them for editing in Movie Maker. Recently, it doesnt look to recognize the avi files. The movie maker will import the files, but when the avi files is played or dropped into a timeline the preview screen is black with only the sound comes through, no video. The other movie files such as the MGP videos work properly. So, can anyone tell me how to get movie maker to load avi files properly? Thanks.
Re: Movie Maker Avi Problems.
There are also different avi file types, so which one is it? If you dont know then use the avicodec to find it out, download the same by searching it from the net. After that check if it is compatible with WMM. If it is not and then used to work, then change your pc.
Re: Movie Maker Avi Problems.
I was thinking that was something that I did. I had recently tried to install a new game on my pc and got an error message everytime I tried to download it from the CD. After a call to the manufacturer's service team, I was told to update my video driver which seems to have solved the issue for me. Thanks
