The latest laptop with Vista is able to find all the computers on the wireless network but the old Vista laptop can only find the new Vista laptop and not the XP desktop? So, how to use the old Vista laptop to find the XP desktop on the wireless network. The workgroup name are the same and netwoking and disconvery is also turned on, but still I dont know what else to do to solve this issue? Help!!

You can try to install the Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) responder from here - http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/downl...n.aspx?id=5577. Normally, Vista uses the LLTD protocol to map computers and devices on a network and this Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) protocol is disabled on the network adapter by default.
