Windows XP: Explorer crashes after boot
I don’t know what went wrong with my Windows XP Home desktop. This is just a 6 months old desktop updated with all recent Windows Update patches and drivers. Since yesterday whenever I boot my system, all desktop icons, start menu and every disappears except the Task Manager. After a minute or two even Task Manager goes away.
However I can click Ctrl + Alt + Del to bring up task manager where I see the epxloree.exe is loaded but it keeps disappearing. So I guess my Explorer is crashing. How can I fix the same? Please help.
