Windows Live Mail Error ID:0x80048820

I am using Windows Vista since a month now with Windows Live Mail as my default mail client. Everything was working fine so far but from last couple of days donnt know what went wrong, when I try to send any mail, this is the error I get on my screen:

Server Error: 0x80048820
Server: http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error:0x80048820

Apart from this, Windows Live also tells me:

“Windows Live Mail needs to download the folders before you can read messages in this account. To download the folders, click Download”

Now though I click the download, nothing gets downloaded but I get the same error again. Am just frustrated in these few days fixing this. Can you guys please help?

The first think I suspect for the error is your Antivirus. Can you please Disable it for a moment, restart Windows Live mail and check if you still getting the same error.

As far as the second error is concerned, just make sure that your internet connection is working proper because I guess windows live is facing some difficulty while loading the emails due to connection. Also just check these Lan settings:

Click Start > Control Panel > network and Sharing Center > Internet Options
Now click on LAN Settings under connections tabs and make sure the box for Automatically detect settings is marked on the top.

Better restart the computer and try sending / downloading mails from Windows Live and see if you get any problem.
