Windows unable to find certificate to log onto wireless network
I was using my XP Media Center PC since a long time with my WPA encrypted home wireless network. There was no problem since years but don’t know what went wrong, now windows tells me “unable to find certificate to log onto the SSID.”
It is just unable to connect my network any more. So far have tried everything I know but all with no success. As I’m not so expert in networking, I came here for help. Please provide some working solution. Thank you.
Re: Windows unable to find certificate to log onto wireless network
Hey, even I’m struggling with very similar problem on my XP laptop. In my case, windows can detect the network, it can connect the network without any errors but it is not allowing me to browse. I mean, thought laptop is connected to network, there is no internet access on my laptop. System restore dint fixed it. I dint made any changes during this period that may have caused the issue. It happened all of a sudden. Any help please?
Re: Windows unable to find certificate to log onto wireless network
These sounds like you are trying to use the wrong version of WPA. Look for WPA-PSK or WPA-Personal. If this is not the issue, please post again in one of the networking newsgroups. Till then just try out checking this discussion: http://forums.techarena.in/networkin...ty/1390296.htm
