I have been trying to update Free AVG anti-virus manually, i have downloaded all required updates but whenever i am pointing the program to downloaded updates than it give me an error message saying "no file found". Don't know what's wrong is there anyone who can help me out for fixing this??
Why do you want to install it manually, i mean you Just have to Open AVG Free > Click on "Check for Updates" > Select site from where you want to download the update > Finally Click on "Update" that's it. If at all automatic update cannot run than right-click on AVG icon in systems tray area > select "Update now." > Click on Tools in AVG UI and click on update.
Actually i dont mind letting my system install updates automatically but i just want to update the database without any changes in application. Is there anyone who has got success in updating Free AVG anti-virus manually and can share the trick with me as well?? Further regrading this will be appreciated.
