I have some media files but when i right-click any of them and select open with windows media player than player get opened but i don't know for what reason file doesn't gets loaded. I have tried using below commands But i am getting same response.
cmd.exe /C "my_media_file.avi"
and
rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler <file>
Does any one have any idea about this issue??
It seems as if there is something wrong with Windows Media Player 11 in your case. I will suggest you to first repair it from control panel and if that doesn't help than uninstall it and reinstall it. Make sure that you are making clean installation of Media Player while reinstalling it.
By the way which operating system you are running?? Is it windows vista?? Let me know for better understanding.
