Stop:0x00000024(0x00190203,0x8338ea50,0xc0000102,0x00000000)
Hi, I am facing a critical problem with my Dell Dimension 2400 running with Windows XP Sp2 and hence need some urgent help. System was working fine until last night when I turned it off but since today morning when am trying to boot the system it takes me directly to the Boot Menu option where I can see options saying Safe Mode, Safe Mode with command prompt, Last known, start normal. But no matter which option I select, I get Blue Screen directly with the following error code:
Stop: 0x00000024(0x00190203, 0x8338ea50, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000)
Now the problem is I dint received any Windows Installation disk with this system. How can I repair or fix it ? Please help.

According to the error code it clearly seems to be the NTFS File System error. Did you made any changes in your system's cabinet? If yes, first of all make sure that there is no cabling issue. try to fix the cable properly to the hard drive. If that is proper than you will need to get an XP installation disk to atleast get to the Windows recovery console so that we can run "chkdsk /f" command to check and fix if any problem or bad sectors of the Hard Drive.
You can borrow any XP disc from your friends as well as you just need to get into recovery console. Alternatively if you have floppy drive on the system then you can make a set of 6 floppy disks to get to the Recovery Console.
To know how to boot from floppy, follow the tutorial mentioned here: http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6142_102...sageID=2495982
