I was earlier using Yahoo messenger comfortably on this Windows XP Pro based desktop. Due to some reasons I needed to reformat windows. I did the same, installed all required drivers and softwares without any problem but while installing Yahoo Messenger I get an error message saying something like “cannot find file to support it.”
What does that mean? Which file is it talking about? Any idea how to fix and install Yahoo Messenger on my computer? Please help.
I am using Windows since years and never saw that error ever. Eveni dont understand which file is it talking about. Anyways, as Yahoo Messenger is not a Microsoft product. You would be better off asking for support from Yahoo.
Otherwise, please provide some more details about the error. Paste here the exact error message you getting. Also check Event Viewer and see if there is anything related to this error.
Yeah, you are correct casher. Hello Leythos, even i would suggest you to post a copy of the Error message you see in the log of Event Viewer. If you dont know how to access Event viewer, go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > and click Event Viewer.
