No picture in Windows Media player on Internet Explorer
This is Windows XP Sp2 with Windows Media Player. There are few websites where I use to stream videos online in Internet explorer on my laptop. But when I visit the same website on my desktop, though the video starts streaming with WMP but I get only Audio, no Sound. The only thing I can see is a green screen. Any idea what could be wrong?
Re: No picture in Windows Media player on Internet Explorer
The only reason I think can be is that video website will be video dedicate and using some another video decoder for playing Videos. It might be not for WMP. BTW, what is the exact web address of that site?
Re: No picture in Windows Media player on Internet Explorer
Thanks for the help Patton. The site in the question is indianafilms.com. But I don’t think the problem is in that website because it plays fine on my laptop. Problem is only with my desktop.
Any other help please?
Re: No picture in Windows Media player on Internet Explorer
I have been struggling with this issue couple of months ago and after lots of research finally I came through a bypass for it. What you need to do is open Windows Media Player, go to Performance and disable "Use Video Mixing renderer" in the Advanced section. That’s it.
