Microsoft Project trial download

I have few files in Project 2007 format but my system is running with Project 2003. Hence I downloaded a Project 7 Trail copy from one of Microsoft site and installed. Installation went fine but don’t know why still those files are not opening. I hope the downloaded file was correct as it was downloaded from Microsoft. Is there something like I need to download the bitmaps graphics img file.
