Cannot play MSNBC, NBC, MSN Videos on MediaPlayer 11

I am using Windows Media Player 11 and the MSN and MSNBC videos are not playing on it. I am only able to get the audio but the video is just completely black. I have done many troubleshooting but nothing seems to be working in my case. I have got a Gateway laptop which is running on Windows XP. The internet access that am using is from BellSouth. I have recently got this new system with everything installed freshly on it. I dont know why videos are not working perfectly and I also dont get any error message as well. Any one who is having similar problem can share some method how to fix this?

I have finally solved this problem. All I did was decrease the acceleration of the video and that did the trick. It might have been great if there was something given in the Help and Faq section regarding this simple solution.

You could have also called Microsoft free of charge and spoke to them who worked on this media player. You could have also tried deleting the temporary internet files on your computer and could have also disabled any firewall if you are using. You can also try to dele any Active X objects by opening Internet Explorer and then going to Tools >> Internet Options >> Settings >> View Objects.
