The backup that we were using has recently started to fail as there is too much data to fit on the tape. If I am looking for large files then I found a 4GB file in a particular users My Documents/RECYCLER and the issue is the users Recycle bin is showing empty on the desktop. I have tried deleting it on the server but I am getting an error message that says "Access Violation at address...", can anyone tell me how to solve this issue?
Since nobody has given any suggestions till yet, so you can try to restart the machine first prior to checking the event viewer for nothing there itself.
You may not be able to delete a file if the file uses an Access Control List (ACL). To resolve this issue, change the permissions on the file. You may have to take ownership of the files to be able to change the permissions.
