Excel 2007 to 2003 "Too many different cell formats" error
Whenever i try to open large files saved in Excel 2007 format in Excel 2003 i get an message saying "Too many different cell formats". It comes up for large files only, they open up fine in Excel 2003, i have been looking after a fix for the same but i haven't come across any effective solution yet.
Can anyone help??

Dear All,
It looks easy to solve this error.Let make a copy sheet or moving sheets into other file. Then delete the original sheet in that workbook. Save original workbook which already deleted file inside into new name file. Then moving back the deleted sheet into the original file using copy or moving file command and save it and close again. Then continue your working. I have tried it and looks work, Thank you.

I didn't really understand what the fix was. I'm a little confused due to the wording. HELP!

Alternately you can search from google and download a software called Style reduction tool that analyzes and processes Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in order to fix the hardcoded limit of formatting styles per spreadsheet, several thousands. If you use formatting intensively, then you have probably bumped on this blocking "too many different cell formats" error.
