Send error: 550 Callout verification failed
I am having SBS 2003 Prem. and when I am sending mail to a selection of certain domains then an error from the local Exchange server gives the below:
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator. <local.domain#5.5.0 smtp;550-Callout verification failed:>
The emails send to other domains work properly. So, can anyone tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks.

You can try to set up Windows Small Business Server 2003 for Internet access. Follow the below link that describes the most common setups that you can use to set up Windows Small Business Server (Windows SBS) 2003 for Internet access by using one or two network adapters:

Non-delivery reports (NDRs) are system messages that report the delivery status of a message to the sender. The messages are a subclass of a general message information structure that is known as delivery status notifications. Delivery status notifications describe three kinds of situation that are explained in more details over here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/284204
