Can't i get Media Center to use composite input on my TV tuner

Guys i am having Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2 working with Vista Media Center. I want to know if i can get Media Center to use composite input on my TV tuner??? I have gone through TV setup but i am not able to check out composite input for a set top box there. It won't allow me to select and display as it cannot detect the infrared device used or controlling the set top box.

I have gone through the article that you have hyper linked above. It addressed the issue i am going through but when i reach the step 8 in part 2. I get an error message saying "No IR hardware detected" and i am not allowed to proceed further. Some people have suggested me to use third party party software but i don't know which one will be compatible and best in my case.

I will suggest you to use Hauppauge WinTV application rather than using any other third party software.
