Sorry if this thread is going into wrong section. Actually i have a Windows Vista desktop and have recently bought simcity 3000 unlimited. I tested it on my XP computer it works fine but i need to play it on my Vista system where it is not working. So i wanted to know whether it is possible to make simcity 3000 unlimited compatible with window vista?

There are several such softwares and games which are still not compatible with Vista. However Microsoft has provided an option of “Compatibility Mode” using which you can make such games and apps work on vista as well. Here are some steps which you need to go through in order to make that game compatible with your system:
1.. Right click on the shortcut to the program.
2.. Click on Properties.
3.. Click on the Compatibility tab.
4.. Click on Run this program in compatibility mode and select one of these:
a.. Windows 95
b.. Windows 98
c.. Windows NT 4
d.. Windows 2000
5.. Under Display settings, check mark the mode that you think that is best:
a.. Run in 256 colors.
b.. Run in 640 X 480 screen resolution.
c.. Disable visual themes.
Click on Apply.Click on Ok.Double click on the program.
