Office Communicator 2005 connectivity setup

I need some help here is connecting Communicator 2005 to a Windows XP client. I am facing problem with the connectivity. I am trying to test Live Communication 2005 Server with Office Communicator 2005. The workstations that are on the network have Windows XP and Windows Vista. I am planing to upgrade all the system to Vista. But it looks there will be issue with communicator. On some workstation when I try to establish the connection I am getting problem with data sharing session. It is simply not working.

Try some kb article on Microsoft site that define the right connectivity procedure of Communicator 2005. I do not think it would be easier to guide you verbally. There can be issue with connectivity or even some upgrades are causing the failure. It is always better if you begin back from scratch and then reconfigure stuff back from scratch. I am sure that is going to work really well.

I also found issue with XP system only. I am using Messenger 5.1 on Vista client and sometime the connectivity drop. I am also not able to use remote assistance here. I trying to locate what can be problem. It is right that you must follow a guide on that because it is not easy to just to apply anything on it.
