Import Outlook Address book 2003 to 2007
So far I was using Office 2003. Now I’m going to upgrade it to Office 2007. As I have a long address book in my outlook, I made a backup of the same in .pst file. Now I want to move them in Outlook 2007 which I don’t know how to do. So can anyone please provide me the easiest way of importing Outlook 2003 address book in outlook 2007?
Many thanks.

That’s not too hard process. First of all copy/move your pst file to somewhere under D partition of your hard drive. Remove outlook/office 2003 and install v2007. Once ready, open outlook and click File-Open-Outlook Data File and navigate to where you put the file. That’s it. Simply import / copy your contact data into the Contacts folder on your new instance of Outlook. You are done.

Thank you very much for your help friend. I went through the steps as you said. But don’t know why my contacts are not showing up anywhere in outlook. What now? Please help.

How is it possible. Unless your .pst file is corrupt, when you will open the file and at the bottom left under the Contacts tab you must see all your current contacts folder AND the contacts folder in the pst file you have just opened.
Check it again and let us know.
