Group Policy Editor in Vista Home Premium

Hi, I bought Windows Vista Home Premium couple of months ago. After using for so many weeks I came to know that Home Premium editions don’t have GPEdit but I need to work with GPEdit frequently for making changes in the system. Now surely I don’t want to spend more dollars to go with Ultimate just because of GPEdit.

So I want to know whether GPEdit is available for download or any way we can install the same in Home Premium Edition as well ? please help.

Nope, neither GPEdit is available for download nor you can install it in Vista Home Premium. I guess this is because most of the settings we find in Group Policy can be directly accessed/made in Registry Editor itself in Vista Home. Hence there is no need of GPEdit. But you need expertise for doing Group policy work in Registry editor. If any mistakes made, system will be damaged.
