I got a error message while performing a security update. The message was -- the expected version of the product was not found on your system. It appeared when I tried to install KB934453. I cannot understand the issue, as I have Office installed on my system. I am using Office XP here. I need some help to fix the issue. Thanks.

Check the below link. It has ample of information on what you are looking for. The issue appears when your system lack permission based on update. Try to run updates only when you are logged in as admin. There are some other workouts provided in the below link which can be helpful to you. You must test the same once.
