I need some help to install English language pack on Vista Ultimate. It came with Italian language interface which I am not aware of. I tried to launch Windows Update. I found some and when I tried to install them I got a CODE2 error. I am not able to find any solution related to that.
You can download that manually from the web and then run the setup. Avoid using Windows Update. I had installed Vista language pack recently which worked quiet well. The only issue is that the default system language is still the old one. Whenever I run any setup or install any new software it does not launches in English.
I had did the same. The language packed worked. But I agree that the system language still remains non english. So I formatted my system and at the time of installation choose English. It worked. If your Vista setup does not comes with English language support, then using language pack lies the only option. I think Microsoft must add this language stuff in all Vista editions.
