vista media center crash - ehshell.exe error

I have purchased a Acer Aspire Idea 510 media center pc which is running on Windows Vista. When I open the Vista media center thne it will crash and when I open the video section of the media centet then I will get the below error message:

Can anyone tell me what is this problem with the Windows Media Center and how do I solve it? Thanks

Did you try to update the video card drivers? You can go to All Programs and then in Maintenance and click to View Problem History, just search for any reports that might be related to the Media Center, and then right click on it and click on View Details. Also, since you have recently purchased it so it must be under warranty, so try to contact the vendor from where you have bought it and ask for a replacement.

I was also having similar kind of problem with the video thumbnails in Windows Explorer but when I uninstalled Nero software from my computer the issue was gone and now the thumbnails are working without any problems.
