Windows Vista System Volume Information
I have just 160GB hard drive in my desktop computer running with Windows Vista. As my volume was getting filled up I started deleting files to free up some space. While doing so I came through System Volume Information folder and found that it is consuming over 10GB of Space? When I opened the folder I found the following file in the folder:

- {35b56443-f74a-11db-b3bd-0018f32cc1e5}{3808876b-c176-4e48-b7ae-04046e6cc752}
- {35b56449-f74a-11db-b3bd-0018f32cc1e5}{3808876b-c176-4e48-b7ae-04046e6cc752}
- {3808876b-c176-4e48-b7ae-04046e6cc752}
- {a5ea2b82-f622-11db-a24e-0018f32cc1e5}{3808876b-c176-4e48-b7ae-04046e6cc752}
What are these files and they necessary? Can I delete them to freeup space?

Yes, you can try deleting those files. I dont think they can harm your computer in any way. But before doing the same, for safer side, i will suggest you to better create a Restore Point. So that if anything goes wrong you will be able to fix it by simply restoring the system. Hope it helps.
