E:/ Application not found

Hi! I've been having some problems with this drive.

Everytime I put a cd, (Like now i have to install the Anti-virus and it does
not read the cd.) it does not work... it won't read it. When I double click
it it says E:/ Application not found. What do I do??

Actually, Like a few hours ago it was working just fine.

But now it won't even read music cd's.
Please help me!

Go to your local department or music/computer store, purchase an optical
drive lens cleaner disk. Bring it home, open the package and read the
instructions on how to use it. Then follow the instructions and run the disk
on your system.

I started experiencing the same problem December 6th with my E drive.
The only differnce in my operating sytem has been McAfee and Windows
downloads. I ran the laser cleaner with no help. Is this a problem in
the downloads?

Hi everyone can anyone help on this ? i have noticed that this error has popped up b 4. i have installed a game called Frontlines it seems 2 install ok (i am running Vista Ultimate) but when installing the 2nd disc it states that it cant find this path (it appears to be an autostart file) when i ignore this & complete instal i can play k but when i get out of the game it wont re-run i have to un-instal then re-install again over & over as long as i want to re-play the game ? what or how i can fix this can someone help me please it would be so appreciated thanks

(after games installed) i load the first disc 1 & it places the menu board on desktop then i swap to disc 2 then press play it then ignores the error & plays the game with no further problems. thanks for the info & i hope this may help others out if needed cheers

You should contact the manufacturer of the game or post your question on the
forum of the game.

Are you using original manufacturer's media? It might be faulty media. If
that's the case you may ask for replacement.

You can also try to install the game on another computer (perhaps your
friend's) and see if you get the same symptoms.

Hey, pls pls help me out here. Everytime I doubleclik on any folder it says that can't be found.....

what can I do?
