Error when trying to active sync Exchange with a Palm Treo 750

Hi, I’m running SBS 2003 R2 with MS Exchange 2003. We have also configured Outlook via RPC over HTTPS and Outlook Web Access is also running very fine. Even sharepoint is configured and works well. The problem am facing is Palm Treo 750 is not able to active sync with exchange server. Whenever I try to do the same, it gives me error code 85010014.

When I was trying to examine the server log regarding the same it shows “Event ID 3005 check that the mailbox is running correctly. “ What is meant by that?

Hello MichaelD, just try out the following steps and see if it works:

1. Open IIS Manager
2. Go to Websites
3. Right click on "Default web site"
4. Select "Properties".
5. On the web site tab select "Advanced"
6. Under "Multiple identities for this website" select "Default Entry" and then select "Edit".
7. IP address: (All Unssigned), TCP port:80, Host Header Value: "Blank"
8. Select "Ok".
9. Restart IIS Admin Service. (Open command prompt, type "iisreset" and hit enter)

Thank you for your help friend, but that dint helped yet. I've enabled imap on the Exchange/SBS box. I gather there are security risks with this? Anyways, can you just tell me how can I install SSL cert on Palm Treo 750?

when you trying to active sync Exchange with a Palm Treo 750 , this type of error occurred.have you copied the SSL certificate to the Treo? if you don,t have a copied the SSL certificate to the Tero, first copy it to Tero. Then it will work nicely.
