I have a very short query, trying to explain it as simple as I can. We a small setup with few systems. For them I bought a OEM version of 2MS Office 2007 Professional and four copies of Office 2007 Basic. Now the problem is I want to download these all to office 2003 but remember these are not Volume Licenses, these are OEM. So, regarding this can anyone provide me some useful info ?
As far as I know you can OEM versions are only sold pre-installed with a new system, and once they activated they get fixed with that particular computer or laptop. Hence I don’t think they can be downgraded or upgraded. What I can suggest you at this point is better you should contact with Microsoft her http://microsoft.com/licensing and ask them for some help.
Alternatively you should talk with your vendor if they can help you in this or if they can refund the Office 2007
